Is The Riley Roo Way™ Free to Use?

Yes — anyone can join The Riley Roo Way™ at no cost. Whether you care for one beloved companion or a whole wild little zoo—the core experience of The Riley Roo Way™ is—and always will be—completely free.

With your free pet parent account, you can:

• Create profiles for one or multiple pets

• Build your care circle by inviting trusted caregivers

• Organize providers and emergency contacts

• Store essential pet details, routines, and notes

Every pet’s story is unique — and so is the way you’ll use The Riley Roo Way™.  That’s why we start everyone with our Freemium Plan: the essentials you need to build your pet’s world, without limits on love or community.

When your pet’s journey expands — more RooSources™, more community, more memories — you’ll have the option to grow with it.

How Do I Upgrade to a Subscription Plan?

If you need more RooSources™ or additional storage, you can upgrade your account at any time.

Subscription Options

• Essentials Plan: A monthly plan that includes a capped set of RooSources™ (10 of each). Perfect if you regularly use care requests, quick links, or calendar tools and want a little extra support.

• Unlimited Plan: No RooSource™ limits. Ideal for families who want full access and flexibility anytime they need it.

Storage Add-On

• Available separately for pet parents who save a lot of documents, images, or records and want extra space once their free storage is full.

Where to Upgrade

You can view your current RooSource™ balances and access your upgrade options directly through the RooSource™ Center inside the app. From there, select the plan that fits your needs and continue at your own pace.

Is Storage Considered a RooSource™?

Not quite. Storage is its own standalone subscription—separate from the RooSources™.  Storage is scalable based on your needs and works alongside your RooSources™.

Your Freemium Plan includes a base amount of storage to get started. If you need more, you can add a Storage specific Subscription—completely separate from our two subscription plans™—and choose the space that fits your household and file needs.

Managing Your Subscription Plan.

Managing your subscription is simple, and you can make changes whenever you need to. 

Here’s how it works:

• Upgrade anytime: Get immediate access to more RooSources™ or additional storage as soon as you upgrade.

• Downgrade anytime: If you move to a lower plan, your new plan will begin at the start of your next billing cycle.

• Cancel anytime: If you cancel, you’ll keep access to your current plan through the end of your billing cycle.

💡Roo Tip: For cancellations or downgrades,  you will need to make changes at least 5 business days before your next billing date so everything processes smoothly. We don’t offer pro-rated refunds, but you’ll keep full access until your current subscription cycle ends.

Privacy Controls: Who Can See My Information or My Pet’s Profile?

Your privacy — and your pet’s — is important to us. Your pet’s profile is yours to manage, and you control who sees what and when.

Here’s what you need to know:

• By default, only the pet parent can see their pet’s full profile.

• Caregivers can only see the pets they’ve agreed to care for, and only the information you choose to share with them — such as care details - during a time frame set by you. 

No public pet pages. No social media exposure. Just care, connection, and security.
